I really enjoy Little Star Café. I generally end up there in the mornings and have always encountered friendly staff. I love the idea of dinner there, it just has not happened for our family more than once. The one dinner we had there was wonderful, the food was good, and the kids had a blast. Plus the adults got to chat =) The Walnut Creek area has needed something like this for quite awhile, and I feel like you have successfully filled that need with your café.
Nina McCallisterWe just found out about Little Star two weeks ago. I love coming here and my daughter Avery loves it too. I love being able to let her run free and not have to worry about her breaking anything. I love that the place is always clean, the waitstaff has always been super friendly, you have TV's to entertain my husband and you serve Longboard! Everything I have ordered here has been very very tasty (asian chicken salad, tri tip sammy and the WHITE PIZZA x2!). We also order the sweet potato fries everytime: SUPER YUMMY! Even picky-eater Avery will eat the food! I will definitely be making this place a regular dining experience for my kids. Thank you for such a wonderful place.
BarbaraGot over to the Café - finally - Saturday evening and I cannot even find the words to tell you how impressed, overwhelmed I was with the Little Star. You guys have really outdone yourselves. We (my Mom and son) were quite the attraction ourselves - the only people there without children but we really enjoyed everyone else's. There was a large birthday party going on too so that was fun to see. I am going to email everyone I know who has little tykes (not that you appear to need more customers!!!!) because I know they would absolutely love it. The food was great and the waiter was about the most charming young man I have ever met. There was also a young woman, helping with the children who was a delight and very gracious to us. You guys have a real winner there and I plan to visit often. Again, super radio interview, you guys rock!
AngelicaI wanted to e-mail to let you know we were very pleased with your staff and the service we received on Sunday. They were wonderful! We all enjoyed our meal (cupcakes included) and everyone loved your place. Thank you again.
Monaliza FisherFirst, I would like to thank you for opening a wonderful place for parents and children to dine and play. I have visited your Café on a number of occasions and my children and I love it there. We love the food, the play area and the friendly staff.
Kristi MackHi - Just wanted to say how much we enjoyed Little Star Cafe. We were visiting the area from AZ and brought our 3 year old (it was her second time there with Grammy...my first time!) - what a wonderful concept and great time for kids. Sarah is very good with the kids as well in the little town area. We look forward to visiting again during an upcoming vacation to Walnut Creek.
Nina McCallister-Vilajust wanted to say thank you for such a great day for my daughter's 2nd birthday we had at Little Star Cafe this past Saturday. The server we had, Evan (forgive me if I got his name wrong) was great! We've had him before as our server and he was just as pleasant. The food was as great as expected and the cupcakes were awesome!
Tracy JensonHi Jennifer, I just wanted to thank you for a fantastic party! We all had a great time and I received many compliments on how well everything went (service, food, etc.). We couldn't have asked for a better party.
Satisfied CustomerI just want to say what a relief it was to go out for a good meal and not worry about my kids throwing tantrums or speaking loudly (OK, screeching). They were entertained and the waiter took exceptional care of us. This is not a 5-star dining experience by any means--no white table cloths, crumb catchers or fussy silverware exchanges with each course-- but it wasn't Chuck E. Cheese's either.
What struck me was how satisfied and pleased everyone was in my party--kids and adults alike. How rare. I don't care if they charge $7 per child to play in the supervised play area. At $3.50 per kid, per hour for a pleasant dining experience where EVERYONE gets what he/she needs (the kids aren't confined and have ample distractions), it's well worth it. Some things we had that we really enjoyed were the artichoke dip, bruschetta, sweet potato fries and a to-die-for cheescake. We will be back!
